Community Guidelines

Last updated: 17 April 2026

These Community Guidelines explain what is — and isn't — allowed on WWPosts (the "Platform"). They apply to everything you post: events, trails, tracks, marketplace listings, business profiles, comments, direct messages, images, videos, and usernames.

We want the Platform to feel safe, useful, and welcoming. Most people already post in good faith; these rules are here for the few cases where someone doesn't. If you see content that breaks these rules, use the Report button on the post — your report is confidential.

These Guidelines sit alongside our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. Where they conflict, the Terms & Conditions take precedence.

1. Be respectful

Treat other members the way you'd want to be treated. The following content is not allowed:

  • Harassment or bullying — targeted insults, pile-ons, unwanted repeated contact, or content intended to humiliate or intimidate.
  • Hate speech or discrimination — attacks or slurs based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or serious disease.
  • Threats of violence — credible threats of physical harm to a person, animal, or property.
  • Encouraging self-harm or suicide — if you or someone you know is in crisis, please contact local emergency services or a recognised helpline.
2. Keep it safe
  • No sexual content involving minors, ever. We report this to law enforcement and the relevant authorities without exception.
  • No adult / sexually explicit content on public posts, covers, or profile images.
  • No graphic violence — no gore, abuse, or content that glorifies serious harm.
  • No dangerous activities framed as safe or easy (stunts, untrained off-road riding in unsafe conditions, unsafe firearm handling, etc.). Educational or clearly-marked safety content is fine.
3. No scams, spam, or manipulation
  • No scams or fraud: fake sales, phishing, advance-fee schemes, crypto "giveaways", counterfeit goods, or anything designed to trick members out of money or data.
  • No spam: repetitive posting, keyword stuffing, bulk-identical listings, or off-topic promotion.
  • No impersonation: don't pretend to be another person, business, or official account. Parody accounts must be clearly labelled.
  • No fake engagement: don't buy, sell, or trade votes, ratings, favourites, reviews, or followers.
  • No misinformation about safety, medical, civic, or election topics where it could cause real-world harm.
4. Respect privacy
  • Don't post other people's private information (address, phone number, ID documents, precise live location, workplace details, etc.) without their consent. This includes "doxxing".
  • Don't post photos or videos of private individuals taken in private settings without consent.
  • Don't share private messages between you and another member publicly in order to identify, embarrass, or harass them.
5. Respect intellectual property
  • Only post content you own or have permission to use.
  • Don't infringe on trademarks, logos, or brand identities you don't own.
  • If you believe your copyright has been infringed, email us the details and we will investigate and remove the content if appropriate.
6. Marketplace & commerce rules

If you use the marketplace, business directory, or event ticketing features, you additionally agree to:

  • Only list items and services you are legally allowed to sell in your jurisdiction.
  • Provide accurate titles, descriptions, prices, photos, and seller details.
  • Not list any prohibited or regulated goods including (but not limited to) firearms and ammunition, explosives, illegal drugs, prescription medication, tobacco to minors, live animals sold as a casual trade, stolen goods, counterfeits, hate-symbol merchandise, or human remains.
  • Honour listings you publish — no bait-and-switch pricing or fake "sold" re-listings.
  • Handle payments, shipping, returns, and taxes yourself. The Platform is not party to your transactions.
7. Events, trails, and location content
  • Only post real events you're organising or have permission to promote.
  • Keep dates, times, locations, and fees accurate and up to date.
  • For trails and tracks, don't promote routes across private land without permission, protected habitats, or areas with safety closures.
  • Respect local laws about drones, vehicles, noise, fire, and wildlife.
8. How to report content

Every post card has a small Report button. Tap it, pick the reason that best matches the problem, and (optionally) add a short note. You need to be signed in to submit a report.

Your report is confidential. We won't share your identity with the person you're reporting. Only our moderation team can see who submitted the report, and we use that information to prevent abuse of the reporting system itself (for example, brigading or mass-reporting).

Please do not misuse the report button — false, retaliatory, or abusive reports may themselves result in action on your account.

9. What happens when we review a report

When a report comes in, our moderators can do one or more of the following:

  • Nothing, if the content doesn't break these Guidelines.
  • Warn the member who posted it.
  • Edit or hide specific fields (for example, a phone number in a public listing).
  • Unpublish or delete the content.
  • Temporarily suspend the member's account.
  • Permanently ban the account in serious or repeated cases.
  • Report to the authorities where required by law (for example, child safety or credible threats).

We try to act proportionately. First-time, low-severity issues are usually handled with a warning.

10. Appeals

If your content was removed or your account was actioned and you think we got it wrong, you can appeal by contacting us through the Feedback area of the Platform. Please include the reference number (if any) and a short explanation of why you're appealing.

11. Changes to these Guidelines

We may update these Guidelines as the community grows or the law changes. Material changes will be summarised in the changelog at the top of this page and, where appropriate, announced on the Platform.
